Local Status : Resident (SMP Status 3) Distribution and abundance : Locally widespread Habitats : Woodland and scrub Flight Period : Single-brooded; mid-July to April Larval foodplants : On the leaves of Blackthorn (Prunus spinosa), hawthorns (Crataegus), apples (Malus) or Common Whitebeam (Sorbus aria) Morley's Final Catalogue : Near the north-east limit of its range. Not noted here since recorded from near Ipswich about 1890 (Miller). Wingspan details : Wingspan 18-22mm Identification
